Assists with the development of a high performing service/support team through leadership and coaching. Supervises Branch Support Staff. Manages various branch-related projects and provides support to branch staff as appropriate. This position has the ability to be performed from our Wyoming, MI office or our Alma, MI office. Essential Job Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to ensure individuals with disabilities can perform the essential functions. - Directs, coordinates, and monitors activities to implement the Bank's policies, procedures, and practices concerning retail products and branch operations. - Manages Branch Support Specialists and Senior Branch Support Specialists, sets direction for their work and delivers timely and appropriate performance evaluations. - Supports branch audit program through monitoring and reporting, conducts regular reviews of monthly branch audits completed by management and conducts on-site branch visits; effectively communicate changes in branch audit program to staff. - Assists in the review of Bank deposit specifications and approves changes as needed. - Responsible for oversight and managing the Bank's cash vault services. - Communicates regulatory changes to branch personnel as needed; including disclosure and rate updates. - Communicates regularly with internal departments to build relationships, address issues, minimize risk and look for opportunities to improve service and create efficiencies. - Works independently and within a team on special and non-recurring or ongoing projects. - Assists with managing certain vendor relationships that support Retail branch network. - Compiles and reports financial data as required by organization and government regulations. - Oversee and support system administration for deposit account opening and transaction processing solutions. Including but not limited to BPM and Integrated Teller. - Assist with Branch facility related projects; coordinating equipment installs, implementation, training and support to impacted parties. - Comply with all laws, regulations, bank policies, and procedures. - Complete all required training on time. - Other job functions may be determined and required from time to time. The following are also essential to the success of this position: • Attendance and punctuality • Professional physical appearance • Overtime when necessary • Required travel for this position will be approximately 20% • Travel may include overnight stays This position also requires the following physical requirements: • Ability to lift objects weighing 25 pounds • Safely operate a motor vehicle • Ability to stand Experience: 3-5 Years Job-related experience in the following areas is required for this position. ​ • Banking or financial services background, specifically in retail, training or operational support or management positions. • Customer service and sales. • Supervisory experience, including training employees, planning, assigning and directing work and appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent. Equivalent job-related education and/or experience will be considered if the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to preform the functions of the job are proven.
