Philadelphia Country Club is currently seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to join our team as a Driver/Valet. This opportunity is part-time, with flexible scheduling and day, night, and weekend availabilities based on business need. The ideal Driver/Valet candidate is able to operate a vehicle (automatic or manual) and utilize strategic planning, organization, and safety skills to assist Members and their guests with Valet parking. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: - Safely provides reliable transportation to employees to and from the Clubhouse. - Responsible for parking vehicles for Club Members and guests to provide a convenient, quick, and efficient Member service. - Uses a system to park all cars. Assess and documents any vehicle damage prior to taking possession and safely parks vehicles in a quick and timely manner. - Operates assigned vehicles safely and efficiently and obeys all traffic and driving regulations observing speed limits and traffic signs. Responsible for keeping vehicle clean and maintained. - Upholds the highest operational and Member service standards. - Other duties, as assigned. Job Requirements: - Must have a current valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Has knowledge and experience of Pennsylvania driving laws. - Ability to operate a vehicle (manual or automatic) using safe driving practices. - Ability to have a good response control and reaction time to quickly respond to movements, signals, lights, sounds, incidents, and any changes. Able to analyze situations quickly and determine if any action needs to be taken. - Ability to work independently. - Must have excellent interpersonal skills to show courtesy, friendliness, respect, and helpful attitude. - Applicants must have a combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. - Must meet PCC standards for uniform, grooming, and hygiene.
