Salary Range $19.61 - $23.24 depending on qualifications; $1,500.00 sign-on bonus; $500 paid after 30 days worked; Another $500 paid after 90 days worked; the remaining $500 will be paid after 6 months. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. This is a representative sample - not to imply a complete listing of all responsibilities and tasks. Assist with process equipment and on-time startups. Check to see machines and work area are operable, cleaned and setup properly. Verify staffing is correct to meet production needs and notify manufacturing supervisor for replacements. Maintains area of responsibility to meet GMP standards. Check to see that raw materials are on hand. Coordinate changeovers Relieve personnel for breaks/lunches Train new operators as needed Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One to three-months related experience and/or training. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to speak effectively with co-workers and supervisors; read and understand documents such as specifications and procedure manuals. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Ability to obtain forklift certification. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to read specifications and warning labels and to sort products, distance vision to operate lift trucks, color vision to sort product color coding, peripheral vision to operate forklift and operate line, depth perception to go up or down stairs and ladders, and the ability to adjust focus to sort product, to read labels, and specifications. Ability to use fine motor skills to operator small hand tools, calculators, and lab equipment. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently works around moving mechanical parts; exposure to cold, wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat; occasionally works in outside extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, etc); occasionally exposed to vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock; noise level is usually loud.
