Watson Civil Construction, Inc. is a heavy/highway contractor specializing in FDOT projects, large site infrastructure, underground, and road work with 250+ employees working throughout Florida. We are a dynamic rapidly growing company that is currently seeking a qualified candidate for our Accounting Specialist opening in the Jacksonville/St. Augustine, FL area. Job Duties may include: General Accounting (journal entries, bank reconciliations, data entry, etc.) Job cost and other data analysis Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Collections Payroll Fixed asset and inventory tracking Assist with month, quarter, and year-end closings Completing Notices to Owner Other duties as needed to support the accounting department Desired qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related. Construction accounting experience is preferred Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in the suite of Office 365 products; knowledge of construction industry ERP systems desired, Viewpoint Spectrum is preferred.
