Job Description Position: Recruiter Department: Human ResourcesReports To: VP of HR Location: Support Center_______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Position Summary The Recruiter will be responsible for implementing effective strategies to attract diverse and qualified individuals to satisfy the company wide staffing needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Recruiter has responsibility for these areas: Work closely with managers of various departments to uncover the staffing needs Oversee and review job posting to be sure the company upholds desired image Organize hiring events and job fairs Screen and select qualified candidates to be interviewed Arrange and schedule interviews with hiring manager and candidates May participate in phone, virtual or in person interviews with or without the hiring manager Coordinate all communication with candidates from the moment they are sourced until job offer is presented and accepted Work with hiring manager to suggest salary range, incentives, and start dates Work with HR department to ensure timely onboarding of candidate Continuously maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates Connect with local high schools (near our facilities) to promote a career at EMS Develop a presentation and career path for high school grads Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience. Experience/Skills/Abilities Required Excellent organizational and planning skills Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Familiarity with job board posting sites such as Indeed and Zip Recruiter Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word Compter and internet research skills Attention to detail and accuracy Extremely resourceful and ability to show initiative; use internal resources to achieve desired results Able to work independently Able to exercise effective judgement, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work Good professional appearance Confidentiality 5 Years of Recruiting experience Work Environment/ Physical Demands Typical office environment- moderate noise level. This position regularly requires standing; walking; sitting; use hands; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
