General Summary of Position:Responsible for leading and managing daily crew operations and job site coordination. This will include, but not limited to, operating heavy equipment and overseeing daily maintenance of equipment, maintaining a safe worksite and coordinating on-site crews, subcontractors, and project management teams of owner and contractor.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge and experience reading, understanding and implementing construction plansAbility to organize and maintain records of daily operationsThorough knowledge of proper use and daily maintenance of construction tools and equipmentStrong interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of peopleThorough knowledge of job site safety requirements and necessary precautionsAbility to facilitate safety training sessionsWorking knowledge of heavy civil, underground utility and site construction tasksExperienced, motivated, dependable, adaptable, and able to work independentlyGeneral Work Environment:Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipmentRegular exposure to below ground operations and conditionsRegular exposure to outside construction conditions and inclement weather including heat and humidityExposure to loud noisesRegularly working around fast moving vehicles Job Posted by ApplicantPro
