SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Digital Technology Lead leads and manages a team of technical specialists and developers responsible for enhancing, integrating, and supporting cloud solutions in line with the Museum's digital transformation goals. This role oversees all IT responsibilities for the Museum's CRM, ticketing, and web platforms, as well as future platforms and enhancements, requiring strong leadership skills and collaboration with cross-divisional teams, vendors, and technical specialists. The position also prioritizes team members' growth, evaluates new technologies, researches best practices, and consults on cloud and digital projects across the organization. Ultimately, the role ensures the implementation and maintenance of robust, reliable, and secure solutions and a strong team to support them. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages a team of 4-5 developers and technical specialists CRM, Email Marketing, and Transactional platforms with 100+ users Websites with 10MM+ annual pageviews 10+ internal stakeholders across multiple divisions/departments Oversees the integration of 3+ third-party software applications Supports high-availability (24x7x365) platforms Participates in on-call schedule/after hours response as needed. WORK SCHEDULE: This position is Hybrid, full-time,30 or more hours per week, Monday - Friday REPORTS TO: Manager, AVP, IT & Security MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor of Science or Arts degree. Experience: 6 or more years of Cloud Software Development/Integration experience. Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, including software-as-a-service platforms such as Salesforce, Ticketure, and Drupal. Demonstrated experience in systems integration, software development methodologies, and up-to-date technologies and industry best practices. Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining technical standards and practices in IT development/operations functions. Demonstrated experience managing staff. Demonstrated experience managing complex projects (with sometimes competing priorities) from start to finish, focusing on meeting project deadlines, ensuring quality, and managing resources effectively. Ability to communicate with different groups to understand business requirements and explain technical concepts in non-technical terms. Demonstrated experience with open-source content management systems such as Drupal and server-side scripting languages such as PHP and frameworks such as Symfony and Drupal architecture, including themes, modules, and hooks. Demonstrated experience in front-end languages such as JavaScript and back-end languages such as Apex and their application to customize and configure platforms such as Salesforce. Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Functions, Salesforce Object Query Language, and Salesforce Object Search Language and similar skills/experience with the Salesforce platform. STARTING SALARY: Exempt $120,000-$150,000/ year (Salaried).
