The Bohemian Grove is situated on 2,700 acres of towering redwood forest in the lower Russian River Valley in Sonoma County. For more than 150 years Club members and their guests have ventured to the Grove to enjoy and partake in the arts, music, literature and drama as well as nature walks and fine dining.Come spend the summer working in this unique and beautiful environment. We offer flexible schedules and excellent hourly wages for a summer only commitment. 2023 Bohemian Grove Events dates: Spring Jinks - Monday, June 5th - Sunday, June 11th Spring Picnic - June 24th Encampment - Monday, July 10th - Sunday, July 30th Duties and Responsibilities Loading and unload delivery goods Interacting with customers to obtain payment and giving receipts Heavy lifting of packages and other equipment up to 40 pounds. Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the General Store and surrounding grounds. Restock shelves as needed. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 18 years of age or older Acknowledge any member within 10 feet with a smile and greeting (How are you today? Hello. Etc.) Ability to carry 40 pounds Must be willing to stand, walk, lift, and carry items on uneven ground and pavement during entire shift Smile and make eye contact Have a positive attitude Show up in the proper uniform Well groomed at all shifts (showered, brushed teeth, men are clean shaven or have neatly trimmed beards, hair pulled back if touches the shoulders, no visible piercing, no visible tattoos etc) Be willing to complete side jobs during slow periods of shift Be willing to ask for help if needed Be a team player Be able to read and understand English Employees must work in a safe manner.
