JOB SUMMARY Develop and Implement Demand Planning process for all sales channels and markets, providing excellence in demand planning, reporting and documentation. Responsible for owning the Demand S&OP plan and implementing a continuous improvement process to maximize accuracy and de-risk demand plans. Partner with cross functional teams in demand plan creation and reconciliation, providing relevant and impactful Insights and Recommendations to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and financial leadership teams. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Develop Demand Planning process, utilizing data and input sources from Sales, Marketing, and administrative support teams. Install a continuous improvement process to de-risk and improve accuracy over time of the demand forecast. Maintain level and mix reconciliation of forecast to actual performance. Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to review demand model for both rolling and fiscal time periods up to 18-24 months. Lead the Demand Review Meeting within the S&OP framework. Creating and optimizing Reporting solutions to provide top-to-bottom and multi-attributed insights into demand model (Views supporting product segments, customers, ship to zones, plant of origin, etc.). Working with Sales Planning, Category Management, Innovation, and Brand Management Teams to create go-to-market demand plans for all innovation and new product launches. Responsible for clear articulation of growth drivers, variances to previous models, and substantiation of assumptions into demand model for cross-functional review as needed. Develop and lead Demand Planning direct report(s) in Demand planning activities and career development. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university 5+ years of related Demand Planning or Inventory Planning Experience; CPG experience a must. Experience leading and developing direct report(s) in an analytical function. Hands-on experience in leading demand forecasting and planning through an end-to-end S&OP process. Strong analytics skills, including the use of multi-source data management, planning systems, and ERP systems. Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience implementing a Demand Planning process from the ground up. Change management leadership including large cross-functional initiatives. Expert in data visualization and modeling solutions including Tableau and Quantrix KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present data-driven insights, key assumptions, and recommendations. Possess entrepreneurial initiative and enthusiasm and must be results oriented and forward thinking. Ability to create strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and customers. Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices. WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Office environment with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
