Neighborhood Program Coordinator Hiring June/July 2023 Mission : Neighborhood Villages envisions a future in which all families have access to affordable, high-quality early education and care. In service of this vision, we advocate for early education and care policy reform and implement innovative, scalable solutions that address the biggest challenges facing early education and care providers and the families who rely on them. What We Do: Neighborhood Villages advocates for policy reform and designs and implements pilot programs primed for adoption into public policy-and we have a proven track record of success. Through testing new solutions, Neighborhood Villages is driving the policy reform necessary to make change happen by building a stronger child care sector, through providing professional development programming and infrastructure supports to child care providers. Job Description: The Neighborhood Program Coordinator , reporting to the Senior Director of the Neighborhood, will work to further the mission of a true, functional child care system by managing the delivery of resources and infrastructure support to our collective of early learning centers, the Neighborhood. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Operate infrastructure in support of the Neighborhood partners Connect the five programs in the Neighborhood across operations, family navigation, and instructional practice Provide support and resources to Family Navigators, Operations Managers, and Instructional Leads at each program Manage calendar of partnerships with resource providers including nutrition support and behavioral health support Schedule and communicate about communities of practice across the five Neighborhood partners as a way to listen to current challenges and brainstorm collaborative solutions Manage and post the monthly Neighborhood newsletter and the monthly instructional newsletter Propose additional partnerships and ongoing program growth based on feedback from programs in the Neighborhood Assist with data collection and continuous quality improvement Work with the Senior Director of the Neighborhood to translate successful Neighborhood initiatives and programs into statewide infrastructure for the early education sector Qualifications: Experience in program operations Exceptional ability to independently manage time and handle multiple tasks and priorities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a project Strong ability to work in a collaborative environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing circumstances Dual or multi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply Compensation and Benefits: Neighborhood Villages is committed to providing competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with the professional qualifications and responsibilities of its staff.
