SUMMARY OF POSITION: Performs a variety of duties in the Computer Room. Supports Data Operations by understanding and performing a wide range of duties. Provides telephone/internet banking, debit card and ACH assistance to internal/external customers, including at least three of the following functions, but not limited to: ACH, ATM, debit cards, fraud reporting, and year end processing. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Performs Computer Room duties: a. Prints customer notices and various other reports. b. Verification of file downloads. c. Processes and transmits to core incoming Federal Reserve cash letter files. d. Processes and transmits to core Remote Deposit Merchant files. e. Processes and transmits imaged ATM deposited items. f. Processes Return files for Deposit Operations department. g. Processes duplicate detection and research/corrects any duplicate items. h. End of Day processing and balancing. i. Item Processing - Amount Entry, Data Entry/Reject Correction and Balancing. j. Provide CAR/LAR support for community office personnel, including training new employees. 2. Performs Card Processing duties a. Provides daily debit card services, including ordering, printing, and verifying cards. b. Maintenance of debit card printers c. Card inventory 3. Performs a variety of other duties to support the data operations functions as necessary: a. Performs ACH duties in a timely manner and in accordance with NACHA rules and regulations. b. Handles disputed, originated items rejected/returned and Government Reclamation ACH items. c. Processes Regulation E Disputes for ACH, Debit Card, Zelle, and ATM transactions. d. Assist with fraud monitoring for all EFT functions. e. Year End Processing. 4. Assists other personnel within the department with training and inquiries in a positive manner. 5. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. 6. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor, as requested, or; compiles information as necessary or directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel. 7. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her area, or to requests from customers or other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and established policy. 8. Provides assistance to internal/external customers with internet/mobile banking, online bill payments, debit card, ATM, ACH, business online banking, and Remote deposit inquiries, etc. OTHER ASPECTS OF THE POSITION: 9. Is strongly encouraged to participate in various community events in order to increase the bank's visibility and strengthen relationships with the communities we serve. 10. Keeps up-to-date with bank communication regarding policy changes, new products and initiatives, personnel changes, etc. 11. Identifies own strengths and developmental areas and sets goals as aligned with supervisor's expectations. Initiates coaching sessions with supervisor to share progress and receive feedback towards goals. 12. Follows corporate policy and upholds bank standards in accordance with the bank's Code of Business Ethics and Conduct . 13. Performs duties in a manner that ensures bank compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. 14. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. REQUIRED EDUCATION: A high school diploma or equivalent. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: None required. Previous experience with personal computers and office equipment required. REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing (including telephone etiquette), strong math skills. A tactful and efficient approach to dealing with customers and colleagues is essential. Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines. Demonstrate a basic understanding of how debits equal credits in banking. Additionally, applicants must possess basic computer skills, such as email, MS Word, Excel, as well as basic knowledge of mobile devices and applications.
