In this position, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day inventory management and distribution of supplies and equipment to our technicians. You'll also assist with general facilities maintenance and may even have the opportunity support our technicians by conducting maintenance and repairs on the small tools they depend on in the field! As the Warehouse & Facilities Assistant you'll be responsible for the day-to-day inventory receiving, counting, storing, stocking, and distribution of supplies and equipment to our technicians. You'll review orders and shipments for accuracy before receiving items into our ERP system. Outside of ensuring a well-functioning supply chain to our technicians, you could have the opportunity to help maintain and repair the small tools used in the field. Finally, you'll also assist with the maintenance of the facilities by collecting trash and recyclables, cleaning and restocking restrooms, and cleaning and detailing company fleet vehicles. Who You Are... So, what does it take to be a successful Warehouse & Facilities Assistant at American Pest? For starters, you'll have a love of things being organized and clean as well as the initiative and drive to make it happen! You'll also have... 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting (preferred) Pest control or pesticide manufacturer/distributor experience (preferred) Ability to safely move in and around a warehouse setting including the ability to ascend/descend ladders and stairs Ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds A strong attention to detail Technical proficiency with computers, bar code scanners, smart phones, etc. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English Good oral and written communication skills Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. Availability to work a flexible schedule High school diploma or equivalent Who We Are...
