The DME Assistant performs preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and safety inspections on DME equipment. This position cleans, disinfects, and functionally inspects medical equipment to return to service. This position accurately documents preventative maintenance, service, and safety checks in appropriate equipment records. Qualifications Education: Highschool Diploma or GED Valid Oregon drivers license and clean driving record required for past 3 years. Experience: Mechanical aptitude preferred. What to expect in this position: Ensures equipment is clean and disinfected according to DME department standards Document and report equipment failure, needed repairs, replacement, or higher level service May stage, load, or unload equipment deliveries from vehicles Actively participate in quality improvement Understand and follow DME compliance standards Job Posted by ApplicantPro
