Job Summary The Accountant I assist and maintains financial records and transactions, ensures accuracy of the general ledger, assists with month-end close of books for assigned properties, and creates financial reports and statements as required. Responsibilities Maintains financial records and ensure financial transactions are properly recorded. Reviews the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Assists with preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Serves as primary contact for AR payment processing. Supports month-end closing of books for multiple assigned properties. Coordinates creation and distribution of weekly reports to owners, agents, and administration Creates, maintains, and automates business software, systems, processes, and operations. Supports delegated business projects, processes, systems, and/or data, as requested. Experience/Requirements Two (2) years professional accounting experience required. Experience with AvidXchange, Yardi PAYscan, Nexus, or other automated A/P software is preferred, but not required. Experience with Yardi Voyager Property Management Software is preferred, but not required. Experience with Yardi CHECKscan is preferred, but not required. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
