A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Finish Carpenter Finish carpenters are skilled professionals who perform the final touches on homes after the structure is fully built. These carpenters must carry out various tasks such as installing doors, cabinetry, custom closet shelving, and adding design trim to window and door trims. The ideal candidate would also have general carpentry skills, experience in light electrical, plumbing, and drywall repairs. You take pride in determining the most efficient way to complete a job without sacrificing quality. On job sites, you make sure safety is a top priority, enforcing company policies as well as state and federal regulations. Organized and focused, you use an app to aid in task management and maintain a work checklist. Keeping an eye on the big picture, you keep production moving at pace, completing jobs on schedule. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A Finish Carpenter 3+ years of experience with carpentry, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to haul materials Willingness to provide your own tools Can you communicate well with others, both verbally and in writing?
