Job Summary: We are searching for an experienced, creative, engaging, and resourceful HR Manager to work onsite at our corporate office location. This new role will support our rapidly growing team and provide HR leadership for our talent management practices. We are looking to expand our geographic footprint to Virginia and nearly double our staff of 100 team members by the end of this year. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like: Coaching and managing a team of HR professionals Partnering with your colleagues on our Leadership Team to develop, champion, and execute an HR and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Providing support and guidance to HR team members, management, and other team members when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. Managing the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborating with department and clinic managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Managing compensation, workers compensation, and benefits programs (i.e., healthcare, supplemental insurance, EAP, 401(k); a nalyzing trends in compensation and benefits; researching and proposing competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure we attract and retain top talent. Creating learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for our team members. Overseeing employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Ensuring compliance with all federal and state employment law and recommended best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, employment laws, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management Who You Are & What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field 5+ years of HR experience required, including experience managing benefits programs (healthcare and 401(k)) 2+ years of management experience required SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively to meet deadlines Demonstrated capability in exercising sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions Ability to work with close attention to detail and to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and able to learn new technical systems as needed Experience with Paylocity software preferred Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Must submit to a federal and state background check You Will Be A Great Fit If You Have: Exceptional ability in building trusting relationships and maintaining confidentiality Strong collaboration capabilities with teammates Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills Ability to operate effectively in a high-growth, dynamic environment Strong execution orientation Excellent judgment Ability to creatively solve problems, get the job done with limited resources, and manage challenges Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 15 pounds at times Must be able to access and navigate each department at our facility What You Will Gain By Joining Our Team: Medical + HSA, Dental, and Vision coverage through Cigna 401(k) with Company Match Short-Term Disability (100% Employer-Paid) & Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Term-Life/AD&D Insurance Whole Life Insurance Critical Illness with Cancer Insurance Accident Insurance Hospital Confinement Insurance 3 weeks of paid time off plus 9 paid holidays Note: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
