A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GLOBAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER As a Global Key Account Manager with our sustainable technology company, you're responsible for working with our global key customers by understanding their needs, pain points, and desires and how these differ per region. You keep track of the quality of the data in our systems and ensure information is flowing properly. Using your strong leadership skills, you oversee your assigned regional account team as well as develop a strategic global partnership with top decision-makers, executives, heads of procurement, and other applicable parties. In addition, you develop a business strategy that includes long-term goals and targets to generate sales in all respective regions. You take the time to understand our customer's targets, issues, needs, and key business drivers. Working with key accounts, you pursue opportunities with the customers by coordinating activities within our organization and the appropriate businesses. You also organize a sequence of strategic meetings and workshops to get decision-makers involved in new aspects of our business. As needed, you provide comprehensive reports on market conditions, competition, and our customer base. You manage tender processes with all parties involved, communicate with marketing to define promotional priorities, and relay feedback to product managers regarding marketing needs. You also design and support activities for global frame and commercial agreements. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A GLOBAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER 3+ years of experience as a key account manager with a track record of successfully managed cases Experience with higher-level sales, strategy development, and serving in a leadership position Basic understanding of contract negotiations as well as commercial and financial concepts, including ORM rules and approval processes Ability to manage complex negotiations and complaints or conflicts Ability to actively work a customer relationship management (CRM) platform Excellent customer service skills Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills?
