Job Overview The NMTC & Bond Guarantee Program Manager is a highly visible position where the individual will have the opportunity to work directly with the leadership team , along with prospects and clients . The Manager will be working closely with the Lending Division and our P ortfolio M anagement Compliance Team . Our Lending Group invests across multiple product types around the U nited S tates , with a core focus i n New Jersey . You will have the opportunity to be an integral member of the team and work closely on deals during sourcing, underwriting & due diligence, financings , and compliance . You should possess an interest in and commitment to impact-driven investment s. Responsibilities Coordinate the closing process for NMTC for CDEs and QALICBs in collaboration with third parties Perform Sub-All and Redemption testing Collect QALICB certifications Manage the Bond Guarantee Program by preparing and submitting quarterly compliance reports. Track and routinely update itemization reports. Mange cash collateral and monitor Over Collateral Testing. Prepare annual compliance reports to the U.S. Treasury Department's CDFI Fund/AMIS reporting requirements. Maintain and improve the impact reporting database for active investments. Periodically evaluate and update categories and metrics utilized ( e.g. jobs created, wages & benefits, demographics of those served, etc.). Must coordinate across departments, such as, Origination, Servicing, and Accounting . Communicate with investees to collect impact data and prepare impact reports for investors and regulators. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferably with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Mathematics or equivalent professional experience. 3-5 years of work experience, preferably with experience in tax credit finance, CDE/CDFI Lending, community development, real estate, or policy . Experience working with New Markets Tax Credits, Bond Guarantee Program, Historic Tax Credits, or other tax credit programs. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills. Must possess a high-level of moral judgment for handling confidential information. Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills . Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with management and stakeholders Reporting to the office the whole week is required.
