OUR MISSION Through academic rigor, character development, and a structured learning environment, Soleil Academy Charter School ensures that every transitional kindergarten through 5th-grade scholar has the foundation necessary for college success and a future bright with opportunity. THE POSITION Campus Monitors will be responsible for supervising students at arrival, snack and lunch, recess, and dismissal as assigned in order to maintain student safety. THE RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise students during arrival, snack, lunch, recess, and dismissal to maintain positive behavior Escort students to designated locations as needed Assist with set-up and preparation of equipment, activities, and events, as time permits Assists in general supervision of the campus as directed by administrators Respond calmly and appropriately to challenging situations Report serious infractions to the administration for possible disciplinary action Maintain a positive attitud e Maintain high expectations for student behavior Model and teach the core values of Soleil Academy Communicate with teachers and leadership regarding student behaviors Follow policies and procedures for health, safety, and nutrition Perform additional related duties as assigned KEY QUALITIES AND EXPECTATIONS OF A SUCCESSFUL CAMPUS MONITOR: Works collaboratively with adults to deliver on the mission Builds strong relationships with students and parents Thrives on reflective feedback with coaching and observations Demonstrates perse verance in face of adversity and setbacks Works until the job is done Doesn't give up on students Maintains high expectations Warm/strict management with students Believes every adult is accountable for student success Demonstrates leadership through creative problem-solving and takes initiative Bilingual Spanish preferred THE QUALIFICATIONS Required: Strong commitment to Soleil Academy's mission and vision High school diploma or equivalent ; AA or higher preferred Excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills TB Clearance **Soleil Academy Charter requires that all team members be Up-to-Date on vaccination against COVID-19 for the safety of our students, family, and staff.
