Geotechnical Project Engineer

Description:
CMT is looking for a Geotechnical Project Engineer who can work in a leadership role within our Geotechnical division in Utah. Description: Perform geotechnical analysis and studies to assess construction site conditions. Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration programs effectively. Perform field and environmental investigations for construction projects. Analyze geotechnical findings, perform appropriate calculations and prepare technical reports for review by senior geotechnical engineers. Develop proposals and determine cost and schedule for investigations. Provide direction to technical team in field inspection activities. Interact with customers and team members to complete the assigned projects on-time. Evaluate team performance and determine training needs to meet performance objectives. Perform basic office administration tasks when needed. Required Skills: Master of science in Geotechnical Engineering or related field. 1-5 years of related work experience within the State of Utah. Proficient in soil mechanics. Able to creatively apply engineering principals to solve new problems. Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to work effectively in teams.
