JOB SUMMARYThe Physician Assistant works collaboratively with the Nephrologists in the care and management of patients. The position will be based at 1050 Gemini Ave, Houston, TX with at least one day a week at our Medical Center location. This is a full-time salaried (exempt) position with benefits.JOB SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIESThe statements below describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this role. They are not intended to be a complete list of all duties, and additional responsibilities may be delegated as required, by the Facility Manager or supervisor. Vascular access pre-op and post-op Vein mapping and ultrasound readings Interventional nephrology procedures History and physicals along with follow-up visits for research patients Nephrology clinic rounds QUALIFICATIONS Current Physician Assistant license Current BLS certificate Current DEA and DPS certificate Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of clinical processes, community agencies, professional programs and resources. Working knowledge of applicable regulations Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written Advanced assessment, consultative and teaching skills Ability to speak, read, writes, and comprehends English Job Posted by ApplicantPro
