Description:
The Stewarding Supervisor be responsible for supervising the overall dishwashing operations for all food and beverage outlets, including banquets. Supervise and motivate Stewards to achieve the highest level of cleanliness and consistency. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Supervise and assist team with the following functions Scrape food from dirty dishes, wash dishes by hand and place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine. Wash pots, pans and trays. Sweep and mop Kitchen floors. Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place in designated containers. Steam clean or hose-out garbage cans. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Notify supervisors of any loss or breakage. Maintain the cleanliness/orderliness of the loading dock. Return dishes, pans, etc. to proper storage areas. Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned Supervise Dishwashing staff by: Facilitating department specific orientation. Actively promoting positive employee morale. Training and coaching employees for successful job performance. Initiating progressive discipline, when necessary. Monitoring employees to ensure productivity. Controlling unnecessary waste of dishes and silverware. Maintain overall Kitchen cleanliness and organization Job Posted by ApplicantPro
