ConvergePoint looking for a Software Sales Account Executive to manage the company's software sales efforts. The role is an inside sales role and will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of the sale for an assigned regional territory including reaching out to potential customers, working with leads that come in through our website, perform initial qualifier calls, conduct demos to highlight product value, address questions, and close sales.**No travel is required.**Job Description Reach out and prospect with potential B2B customers through phone calls, email, and social media in the assigned regional territory Conduct demos of the software product (training will be provided). Answer questions about product and price. (training will be provided). Prepare proposals to meet the specific needs of the customer within SalesForce. Negotiate and close the sale with prospective customers. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree is required. A degree in business, marketing or communication preferred. Must have 1 - 3 years of sales experience. Software Sales, IT Sales or IT Recruiting experience is a plus. Experience with Salesforce or relevant CRM is required Must possess excellent technical skills and be comfortable with using web technologies Industry knowledge, specifically in technology or software is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously and independently Must be local to Houston Must be authorized to work in the United States Benefits Competitive base salary with excellent uncapped commissions.
