Job Description & Duties As a Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating the optimal performance of network systems to support the daily business functions. You will work closely with a team to improve project integration and produce accurate deliverables to our customers. Summary of Responsibilities: Receive orders for the day to configure and prepare required components. Communicate via email with customer on completion of device integration. Install and prep devices from customer return shipments. Work with shipping team to send completed devices out to customers. Capture critical device information such as asset tags, serial numbers, mac addresses, and other necessary information for client and company use. Make recommendations as required from time to time to improve customer design to power and equipment load. Understand and abide by all security and operational policies Qualifications: Strong communication skills with customers and team members Ability to learn new systems and hardware/devices Experience and understanding of inventory/shipping/receiving is a plus Strong troubleshooting skills Basic Linux knowledge Basic Networking knowledge
