Job description NuCara Pharmacy is looking for a certified pharmacy technician with excellent customer service skills. Candidate must be a highly motivated, team-oriented individual with consistent dedication to their position.Position SummaryNuCara is seeking to fulfill a pharmacy technician role entailing data entry and triage of new prescription orders and refills in an efficient manner.Duties & Responsibilities Accurately type new orders and process refills Ability to read and understand prescribed orders for compounded medications Place calls to patients to notify them when receiving a prescription, obtain payment info, notification upon completion of fill, etc. Contact patient care providers for refills, clarification on orders, demographics, etc. Answer incoming calls from patients and prescribing offices Package prescriptions for shipment to patients' homes and doctors' offices Kindly greet patients at the front desk, retrieve completed prescriptions in the will-call bins and run a point of sale system Update and organize any invoices & filing of prescription hard-copies Knowledge & Abilities Ability to cope with varied levels of workload and multiple tasks Demonstrate ability to work on your own, and in a team to accomplish given tasks Must be able to work in a fast paced and changing environment Consistent punctuality, strong time management and organizational skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities with acute attention to detail Adhere to policy and adapt to evolving standards and regulations Promote a positive team environment with consistent willingness to help with tasks Flexibility and proactiveness to meet varied company need Strong interpersonal and people skills Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent Certified Pharmacy Technician One year or more of pharmacy experience Proficiency with computer software and point of sale interface This is a full-time position with benefits offered upon hire.
