Job Summary The Dallas Country Club seeks a part-time Kids Club Attendant to provide excellent services to our member and guests children. You will be directly responsible in ensuring the safety of our children as well as engaging in play and creating a fun-filled environment! Other duties include assisting in annual events such as Halloween, Holiday Workshop, Easter, etc. Job Tasks/Duties Ensure children are safe and that their needs are met - this may include diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding Engage in positive interaction with children Ensure children are kept active, entertained, and engaged Model and encourage good social skills, e.g. strong communication and conflict resolution skills. Monitor and report safety concerns Maintains proper sanitation and cleanliness of areas Courtesy to members and guests Oversee children of varying ages from infant to young teen Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations Ability to exercise critical human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with members, their children, club staff and management. Manage programs and events for members' children. Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations. Licenses and Special Requirements 18 years of age or older Physical Demands and Work Environment Continuous walking and standing. Frequent lifting, pulling, bending, stooping and repetitive actions. Ability to project voice and get attention of and cooperation from youngsters. Occasionally must work outdoors in inclement weather.
