Title: Municipal Outside Sales Representative Location: Texas (Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio) Salary: Base + commission Reasons to work with us: Stability - We've been in business since 1848 Growth opportunities - Over 25 retail stores and upfit centers, and continued expansion Never Settle - We're committed to adapt, overcome, and continuously improve Collaborative, supportive, and engaging work environments We're North America's most popular manufacturer of work truck bodies and truck beds What you'll be doing: Prospect, sell, and proactively manage relationships with the municipal market Prepare and present sales proposals, build custom quotes, place and manage orders Prepare and deliver responses to RFQ's and bids Meet regularly with key decision-makers from municipalities, counties, and state agencies to build and maintain relationships Attend council and/or board meetings as necessary Maintain an awareness of market dynamics and competitors' activity Attend local industry trade shows and participate in local chambers or other community associations and trade groups Experience you'll need: Municipal sale experience; previous experience working with municipalities, counties, and state agencies; understanding of municipal, county, and state RFQ/bid programs; and/or previous work truck equipment sales experience High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred Valid Driver's License
