Description:
JOB SUMMARY : Assists the Renovation Manager and Renovation Coordinator in monitoring the activities of workers engaged in construction, installation, demolition, remodels and repair of capital improvements. This position is responsible for performing and verifying preventative maintenance on existing repair procedures, renovation of resident apartments and interior common areas and capital improvement projects. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent, or 2-year college or technical school or trade experience (carpentry, framing, construction and general mechanical skills). 10+ years' experience or combination of experience and training in carpentry. Two years prior experience as work crew leader, foreman, supervisor or equivalent formal training. Ability to read architectural drawings. Requires good interpersonal skills to deal with residents, administration and staff. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Basic computer abilities, Microsoft Project preferred. Valid Oregon driver's license.
