If you're looking for a summer position where you can be outside and work with your hands - our Landscape Laborer position is perfect for you! Spend your summer at Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where we're miles from the ocean and bays. What does a Landscape Laborer do? Providing general assistance and support to the course superintendent and horticulturist. Maintain the landscape of the club, golf course, flower and tree beds Must be comfortable with mulching, mowing, watering, weeding, trimmings, pruning, planting, landscaping, sodding, and using chain saws. Assisting with storm and debris clean up and tree work when necessary. Working outside in all weather conditions to perform tasks and upkeep. Always follows safety and sanitation policies. Able to operate powered equipment, including: blowers, edgers, trimmers, chainsaws, chain saws, etc. Is polite and friendly to members and fellow team members. Why work at Kings Creek? Fully stocked employee break room. What we're looking for: Willingness to work in a team environment. Ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor setting to complete tasks of the job. Remaining punctual and able to report to job from 6:00am - 2:30pm. Some weekend shifts may be required on an "as needed" basis. Important Details: Work is outdoors and includes standing, walking, and operating machinery . Must be able to work standing for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds. Requires communicating with other staff members, which includes talking, hearing and visual acuity sufficient to perform these major functions.
