Inventory Sales, an EFC International company, is looking for an Human Resources Generalist to join the team at our St. Louis, MO location. The Human Resources Generalist supports business goals through effective employee relations, compensation, staffing, training, organizational development, safety, and change management. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively are essential skills. This position is 100% on site with the potential to work remotely in the future. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Administer the organization's day-to-day HR operations. Administer the organization's talent management programs and maintain employee data in the talent management and HRIS systems. Administer the organization's compensation program, ensuring salary adjustments, pay increases and bonus payments are effected in a timely way. Administer the organization's employee benefits program, keeping employee records up-to-date and assisting with employee enquiries. Administer the organization's employee development program, ensuring managers and employees are aware of available internal and external training/development opportunities, and maintaining training/development completion records. Administer the organization's health and safety program, ensuring all employees complete required training on time, and organizational compliance with relevant legislation. Train managers and employees on HR and talent management policies, procedures and best practices. Provide day-to-day guidance, support and/or coaching to managers and staff on: talent/performance management, employee relations, and other areas of HR/management Provide resources and guidance to managers to help reinforce and align goals, and deal with issues related to employee performance, productivity or behavior, based on established policies, practices and/or contracts. Communicate and interpret HR policies and procedures to managers and employees. Provide guidance and recommendations for employee-employee, manager-employee problem/conflict resolution, redirecting or escalating as appropriate. Maintain employment/performance documentation as required by legislation and regulations. Consult with department managers to determine human resources priorities. Gather and consolidate relevant HR metrics that demonstrate how HR programs support organizational goals and that tie to key performance indicators. Proactively make recommendations to improve HR and business operations. Review and analyze HR and talent management data to provide insight, identify trends, and support the achievement of organizational goals. Complete HR special projects, clarifying project objectives, establishing schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information and delivering results. Administer the organization's employee communications initiatives, using various media to disseminate key messages. Recruit for non-management positions,and assist with vetting/interviewing/hiring process. Orient and onboard new employees. Assist with employee off-boarding.
