Well established supply company looking for class A drivers to join our successful transportation team. Current openings are Tuesday through Thursday day shift. Overnight stays on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Per diem pay $60 per day for all overnight stays plus return trip over 6 hours. This is a direct hire full-time position. Guaranteed minimum 40 hours. Excellent work environment with great work-life balance. Business to business deliveries. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen. $1,000 sign on bonus. Position Title: Delivery Driver Department: H-Trans Position Summary: CDL Class A driver to execute business to business deliveries on dedicated LTL route. __________________________________________________________________ Functions or Duties: Must be qualified to safely operate tractor trailer Deliveries are predominately full pallet stops Correctly maintain electronic logs Perform pre and post-trip inspections Some overnight travel required Provide great customer service All weather driving skills __________________________________________________________________ Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills Valid Class A CDL Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen At least 1 Year experience Acceptable driving record Operate power pallet jack, pallet jack, hand cart Htrans Inc. is an EEO/AA/Disability/Vets Employer Education and Experience: Must have current and valid CDL Previous background in trucking industry required Minimum of one year CDL driving experience preferred Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
