Are you a high school or college undergrad student, interested in working as an Education Intern? Apply online today.PAY RATE: $15.00 PER HOUR (HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL); $17.00 PER HOUR (COLLEGE UNDERGRAD LEVEL)We are one park district, one community. Please note, this internship is funded through June 2023 due to a grant from the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. It is open to applicants who are current/active High School or Undergrad College Students. Maximum of 15 hours per week for High School level; 20 hours per week for College undergrad level. Supervise and assist youth with homework, computers, or other after-school or program activities. Ensure the proper use of supplies and equipment during activities. Communicate effectively in verbal and written situations. Follow all Peoria Park District rules, policies, and procedures. Follow all safety procedures that pertain to the duties performed and support all aspects of the Peoria Park District's safety program. Perform all other duties as assigned.
