What You Will Do Job Summary: PHP Agency Inc., "PHP," is seeking a Life Insurance Internal Wholesaler to join our Dallas-based HQ team. If you live and breathe education and training of Life Insurance and Annuity products, we want to meet to you! Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a goal oriented, self-directed individual who is constantly striving to exceed expectations with an enthusiastic sales attitude. You will implement, track and optimize our end-to-end internal wholesaling efforts. You need exceptional product demonstration and selling skills to show, promote and train on life insurance products. You should have a working knowledge of life insurance products (term, perm, IUL, UL, GUL, etc.) and a clear understanding of "suitability" as related to matching such products with consumer needs. The highly collaborative and visible Life Insurance Internal Wholesaler position reports to the Director of Field Training and is responsible to work closely with the company's field sales team (agents who own & operate their own offices - 140+ locations nationwide) and the corporate staff. You must have well-developed business communication skills and display comfort interacting with senior executives and can tailor complex messages in clear, understandable terms. The Life Insurance Internal Wholesaler position is based at the Dallas headquarters team with 33% travel to field offices based in top metro areas in CA, AZ, FL, TX, TN, MD, IL (and some other states). Develop working relationships PHP agents who are appointed with multiple life insurance carriers to assist in driving the sales process Influence and impact sales (policy count and premium) generated by PHP's 140+ field offices Required Skills / Abilities: Seek opportunities to cultivate new agent relationships with up-and-coming top producers Effectively maintain relationships with life insurance carrier wholesaler counterparts Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of PHP Agency Inc Encourage agent compliance with government agencies (DOI), carriers and PHP corporate Provide excellent customer service with a "serve the agent" mentality Requirements: 3 - 5 years of sales or new business experience with Life Insurance 2+ years of experience as a wholesaler calling on FMO or IMO organizations Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent with an emphasis on marketing / business Strong knowledge of Life Insurance product design and sales conce Exceptional problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial spirit and passion to promote the company and brand "as his/her own." Effective cross functional skills, both as a leader and a daily individual contributor, having the ability to think outside of the box and find creative and unorthodox program solutions. A demonstrated track record in similar roles, delivering or developing training curriculum or programs to ensure successful replication of insurance sales representatives. Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written) Bi-lingual Spanish is highly desired but not required BS degree in communications, marketing or a related field (or work experience) Ability to work well within a team environment -strong collaboration skills.
