Internal Medicine Director physician job in Florida : Chief of Adult Medicine An experienced Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is sought to provide superior quality, competitive value, and outstanding service under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and in collaboration with the Physician Advisory Council, Chief Quality Officer, and other executive team members to provide leadership and direction for clinical services in relation to the Family/Adult Medicine department. The Chief of Family Medicine is also responsible for providing direct patient care in their assigned department. Qualifications 5+ years' experience as a practicing physician in a primary healthcare environment Clear and active Florida Medical License or ability to obtain a license Active Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records Practice and personnel management experience Strong oral and written communication skills Extensive knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and ailments. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventative healthcare measures Understanding of value-based care Melbourne, Florida is a city located on the east coast of Florida, known for its beautiful beaches, outdoor recreational activities, and vibrant arts and culture scene.
