Consequently, we are looking for an individual to join our team, in the role of Junior Buyer: Duties and Responsibilities Select potential suppliers, prepare requests for quotes Prepare and issue purchase orders for components, fabrication out-sourcing and MRO supplies Follow up on outstanding purchase orders Work with accounts payable to resolve any invoicing issues Maintain scrap data collection and reconciliation reports Review and maintain supplier documentation required per Anchor Danly ISO and H&S policies Other duties as assigned by Management Qualifications Minimum one to two years previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment required College diploma or equivalent in related field required Must have strong computer skills and be competent in MS Excel Effective negotiating and written/oral communication skills required Ability to be proactive, flexible and multi-task as required Knowledge of purchasing processes required Working knowledge of steel, fabricating and CNC Tooling an asset Familiar with ISO9001 standard practices an asset Hours: 7:30a. m. 4:30p. m Monday- Friday (Note, flexibility/OT may.
