We treat all our patients like family and we work diligently together to give our patients with an excellent experience every appointment.We are looking for an energetic, friendly, intelligent, compassionate, and hard-working person to join our team as an insurance coordinator. Someone who has had success in managing accounts receivable by billing insurance would be great for this job. A firm understanding of the process of billing insurance and posting payments is a must. Prior experience is required. As an Insurance Coordinator in our office, here are some of the duties you will be responsible for: Filing Insurance Claims - Ensure that claims are batched and submitted daily to insurance companies on behalf of our patients. Following up on claims – Calling insurance companies weekly to follow up on any claims that have been submitted that the office has not been reimbursed for. Posting Payments - Posting payments daily to the appropriate ledger in our practice management software. Requirements: Associates degree is preferred A high school diploma is required Prior experience with dental insurance is required About Wes Park Family Dentistry: Located in the heart of Perry, our mission is to provide our patients with excellent service and care.
