Description:
The Role: • Primarily to assist with the production process. • Liaise with customers and respond quickly to customer quotations and enquiries. • Produce quotations from customer drawings. • Load customer orders onto production control software• Produce 2D drawings and nests for CNC Laser cutter and CNC punch. • Produce job cards for production. • Entering data into the production and stock control systems• Raising purchase orders for factory supplies as and when required. • Liaising with the supply chain/sales and production and manufacturing team• Raising delivery notes The Person: • Experience in production administration /production coordination/sales administration• Effective communication skills with team, internal customers, and suppliers• A strong focus on teamwork and internal/external customer satisfaction. • Experience of MRP / ERP software, with good knowledge with MS Office applications, including excel. • Good attention to detail with superior completer / finisher mindset. • Effective time management skills able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. • Self motivating• Excellent verbal and written skills• Problem solving• Skills and Experience • Experience using Sheet Metal or Laser Processing CAM / quoting software, Radan and E2i will be advantageous but not necessary. • Knowledge of Brake Press Machines advantageous but not essential• Experience of 2D Cad essential. • Presentable with a good telephone manner • Able to fit in to an established manufacturing working environment. • Good organisational skills and able to work under pressure, prioritise, and manage your own workload. Hours of work are 8-4:30, Monday to Friday. 1/2 hour lunch. HOLIDAYS20 Days plus Bank Holidays. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
