Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 6 Years, Job Overview: A law firm in Roseland, NJ, is seeking a Litigation Counsel with a minimum of 6 years of experience to support senior attorneys in various aspects of litigation. The ideal candidate should be able to manage a substantial caseload and must be admitted to the NY Bar, with preference given to those also admitted to the SDNY and EDNY.Duties:Provide comprehensive support to senior attorneys in all facets of litigation.Manage and oversee a significant caseload, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist in case preparation.Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant information and evidence.Attend court proceedings, hearings, and depositions as necessary.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Requirements:Minimum 6 years of Litigation experience.Admission to the New York Bar is mandatory.Preferred admission to the Southern District of New York (SDNY) and Eastern District of New York (EDNY).Proven ability to handle a large caseload efficiently.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar Association.Skills:Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in legal software and case management systems.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
