We are hiring IMMEDIATELY a Community Support Specialist to join one of our community mental health providers! Salary: $42K - $50K. SUMMARY:Provides direct client services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses and/or addiction issues who reside in the agency's residential facilities. HIGHLIGHTS OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise/monitor client activitiesPrepare, distribute, and document medications accuratelyProvide support staff respite coverage as needed at various facilitiesMaintain a safe physical environmentLight/heavy housekeepingCookingInventory controlReport writing/completion of required paperworkDriving duties may include client transport, facility shopping, recreational outings, and medication distribution. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma/equivalency preferredOne year experience working with serious mentally ill.A combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.
