*EVENT DAY POSITIONS START AT $22.75/HR* Want to join a championship winning team and be a part of one of the busiest stadiums in the United States of America? We are hiring additional part-time Security Officers for our Security Operations Department at Lumen Field, in Seattle, WA. Lumen Field Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff while attending events hosted at Lumen Field, Lumen Field Event Center and the WaMu Theater. We expect all successful applicants to possess honesty, integrity, tolerance, good judgment and the ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner. Additionally, the successful applicant shall readily present a pleasant and courteous professional attitude and appearance at all times while on duty. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: · Conduct patrol duties of the venue ensuring established security procedures and measures are enforced· Log and report all activities performed during shift· Investigate and write incident reports of all significant incidents involved with on duty· Understanding of and the proper use of the radio, video management, access control, and alarm systems· Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate information to co-workers and supervisory staff· Enforce physical security and access control procedures for stadium events· Follow all policies and procedures as specified for the Security Operations Department and the Organization· All other duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements: Minimum: · Must be 18 years of age or older at the date of hire· Able to perform walking and static patrols; walking includes stairs and ramps· Able to lift at least 25 lbs.· High school diploma or equivalent· Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays· Ability to write complete reports outlining the circumstances of incidents encountered on duty· Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills· Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a dynamic environment· Ability to work all Seahawks home football games and other special events as assigned· Ability to successfully pass a background inquiry Preferred: · Two or more years of security experience within a sports or entertainment venue or in a related field such as corporate security or public safety· Previous military or law enforcement experience· Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills· Proven success to deescalate confrontational situations using verbal skills· Demonstrated ability to work within large crowds of people and remain composed Special Requirements: Employment is conditional upon being able to pass a personal background inquiry.
