Someone with experience setting up food service areas, preparing a high volume of food, and maintaining proper food storage conditions is desired. An interest in learning and prior work experience in the food industry are ideal qualities for the position. We need someone who can perform well under pressure, can prioritize their tasks, and can work well with others on the crew. This position is open right now if that sounds like you! Responsibilities: • Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served• Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations• Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it• Stock ingredients needed for food items by washing, cutting, dicing, or slicing them as needed• Finish each shift by sweeping the floor, mopping, cleaning countertops, and wiping down any other surfaces that were used Qualifications: • Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic• Prior fast food or quick service restaurant industry experience is highly desired• Must have excellent time-management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask • Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage regulations• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Compensation: $12 - $16 hourly About Company: Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks is one of the fastest-growing businesses in Atlanta, Georgia.
