The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest and significant experience in Open government (Brown Act, Conflicts of Interest, Public Records Act) and a potential focus on construction and other contracting matters. Strong writing and oral skills are essential for this role. Job Details:Preferably have significant experience in Open government (Brown Act, Conflicts of Interest, Public Records Act).Genuine interest in construction and other contracting matters would be a real plus.Strong writing skills for legal documents and communications.Proficient oral communication skills. Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in general municipal law.Interest in working on both transactional and litigation matters. Skills:Significant experience in Open government (Brown Act, Conflicts of Interest, Public Records Act).Genuine interest in construction and contracting matters.Strong legal writing skills.Proficient oral communication skills. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar. The Sacramento office of this firm represents clients from every area of the state in matters involving water law, natural resources, municipal and public agency, public finance, education, construction, employment and labor, bankruptcy and creditors rights, and related litigation.
