Job Details:Independently handle cases, analyzing and researching complex legal issues.Structure discovery plans, ensuring thorough examination of relevant information.Take and defend depositions as part of the legal proceedings.Manage document-intensive cases efficiently and effectively.Draft dispositive motions and prepare compelling legal arguments.Prepare thoroughly for trial, demonstrating a strategic and well-prepared approach.Prioritize professional liability defense, with knowledge of legal ethics and risk management, considered a plus. Requirements:California Bar license is mandatory.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in complex civil litigation and/or professional liability matters.Strong academic credentials reflecting a solid legal foundation. Skills:Exceptional organizational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and take on significant responsibilities.Proficiency in structuring effective discovery plans.Experience in taking and defending depositions.Expertise in managing document-intensive cases.Drafting skills for dispositive motions and legal arguments.Thorough preparation for trial proceedings.Familiarity with professional liability defense, legal ethics, or risk management is a plus. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
