Other related fields such as Projects Control, QA/QC Inspection, 3D Geometrical and Intelligent Modeling, and Drafting are also available.Our client is looking for a Senior Structural Designer to work on-site at their Houston office. Our ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced Structural Designer with expertise in the petrochemical industry, specifically in the use of S3D software. As a Structural Designer in their company, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing structures for petrochemical plants. Responsibilities Create detailed structural designs for petrochemical plants using S3D software. Develop structural models, calculations, and drawings based on project specifications and requirements. Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure accurate design implementation. Conduct structural analysis to assess the integrity and stability of designs. Identify potential issues or risks related to structural design and propose solutions. Review and approve shop drawings and fabrication materials. Stay updated with industry standards, codes, regulations, and emerging technologies in the petrochemical industry. Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers or drafters as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 5 years of experience as a Structural Designer in the petrochemical industry. Expertise in using S3D software for structural design is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for conducting structural analysis and identifying potential issues. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or other drafting software, preferred. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
