Agricultural Loan Officer Salary Range - $35,000 - $70,000 Per Year Bank of Pontiac is seeking professional, outgoing, Agricultural Loan Officer. Bank of Pontiac opened its doors for business in 1947. At Bank of Pontiac, we believe that “Together We’re Better.” Key Objective The Agricultural Loan Officer will solicit, develop and service agricultural loan customers, within the guidelines of Bank policies. Job Responsibilities Originate Ag operating and Real Estate loans through existing customers and potential business relationships. Analyze credit worthiness of applicants by reviewing Financial Statements, Tax returns, Income Statement, Cash flows. Approve or reject loans. Prepare loan presentations for loan committee and board. Establish and negotiate terms and conditions with borrowers. Maintain proper loan documentation. Ensure Compliance to applicable regulations and keeps up to date with lending requirements and regulations. Monitors loan repayments and takes appropriate collection action. Prepare and process loan documentation to ensure proper monitoring of financial progress and perfection of collateral security interests. Cross-sells bank services and products. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: 3+ years’ experience in Agricultural lending Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task to meet deadlines. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with elevated level of accuracy. Proficiency with MS Office products and overall computer skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. This is a full-time exempt position located in our Fairbury location.
