External Job Posting Job Title: Inventory Clerk No. of Positions: 1 Hourly/Salary: Hourly Grade Level: BN1 Status: Full-time Department: Inventory Control Reports to: Crystal Smith Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (some overtime on Fridays) Hourly Rate: Min $12.48, Mid $15.60, Max $18.72 SUMMARY: Inventory Clerk – Distribution Center maintains inventory integrity in our DC, which involves daily processes of creating and maintaining inventory data in Warehouse Management System (WMS). This involves verifying rack locations, entering inventory information, reconciling transactions, completing cycle counts, and helping with other production related inventory tasks. Requires the ability to solve both short-term issues and long-term issues. This requires interaction with all material handlers, supervisors, quality team, and lead persons. This position will report directly to the Materials Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Participation in the cycle counts with integrity and accuracy. * Responding to execute WMS generated cycle counts. * Create reports in JD Edwards and WMS to verify / resolve inventory discrepancies. * Properly reconcile transactions within JDE and WMS for accurate inventory management. * Work with INV team to validate and correct inventory negatives. * Review all daily incoming / outgoing deliveries and transactions. * Complete audits on outbound deliveries. * Document all INV discrepancies, root cause analysis’, corrections, and reporting’s. * Complete due-diligence investigation on concerns and effectively communicating. * Provide any feedback and recommendations for improving practices and processes. * Maintain the 5S’s in all areas of work and create the same expectations for the DC team. * Drive continuous improvements initiatives for inventory accuracy and management. * Consistently deliver the best in customer service. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * High School Diploma is required. * Inventory control mid-sized manufacturing experience required. Previous JDE, MRP and WMS system experience is a plus. * Strong attention to detail, basic math comprehension, and computer skills (Excel, Word), and JDE and WMS background. * Candidate must have ability to analyze information; work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; use scanners (RFGEN); and be a team player.
