OPPORTUNITIES WILL INCLUDE: Actively pursue and acquire new event bookings utilizing effective sales techniques Provide innovative ideas and input for increasing sales numbers, bookings and inquiries Use superb customer service, communication and negotiation skills to establish new client relationships and nurture existing ones Conduct in person wedding, corporate & social sales appointments with inquiring clients Conduct sales calls and venue tours, being the first point of contact for prospective and returning clients Communicating details effectively to our Sales & Event Coordinators and Operations team to bring your client's vision to reality Respond to customer inquiries, needs and concerns in a friendly, personal and efficient manner Create event contracts and collect deposits Staying up to date with current hospitality and event industry trends Track sales, ensuring targets are being achieved while reporting figures to senior management Attend scheduled team meetings to guarantee successful execution of events REQUIREMENTS: 3 - 5 years of sales experience, hospitality or travel and tourism related experienced is a strong asset Post Secondary education, in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field A sales or marketing Degree from a recognized University is considered an asset Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA) certification is an asset High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills Superior verbal and written communication skills A team-oriented approach to work with strong abilities to provide and receive professional.
