Are you up for the dare?This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.POSITION SUMMARYAs a Packing Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing packing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.You will need a basic understanding of electricity and be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment. You will be responsible for product changeovers, lubricating equipment, and assisting with general mechanical troubleshooting.Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance.Make mechanical and electrical repair on all plant packing equipment with minimal supervisionKnowledge of all plant equipment and material flow through oral review and assessmentsTroubleshoot, provide repair, or replace any mechanical equipmentReplace simple electrical devices, such as, motors, fuses, and switchesDuties will include production changeovers, welding, layout, fabrication, and other duties as neededRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED1+ year maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, warehouse or military or related environmentOtherMust be open to working nights and weekendsDon t meet all the qualifications listed under other ? The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance B $41.17, Maintenance A $43.16. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
