This position will require at least 63% onsite work to be done in St. Inigoes, MD. This position will apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering deign decisions. Primary Duties: Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge Support part(s) evaluations and use case inputs to engineering stall in making engineering design decisions. Skills and Qualifications: Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills. Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality. Microsoft office proficiency. Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to work independently Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines Detail oriented Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues Ability to adapt to evolving technology Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline In lieu of a Bachelor's degree a substitution may be allowed for a degree and years of applicable experience. Three (3) years of relevant experience Two (2) years of experience must be in engineering of CID systems. Clearance: This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
