New Job Opportunity - Senior Accountant New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Rockville, MD. Looking to hire an experienced accounting professional with a minimum of 3+ years of related work experience in accounting. Healthcare Experience is highly preferred We are trying to fill this role in the next two weeks Logistics of the Role: Full Time - Direct Hire Hybrid Remote: 2 days of remote work a week Day to Day Activities: Review your own work for completeness and accuracy. Processing payroll and maintaining records. On-board and off-board our client's employees. Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and bank reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset records. Participate in business compliance reporting, including preparing schedules for sales and business tax returns. Prepare schedules for audit support. Research and resolve basic accounting issues. Perform other month-end close activities, and other job-related duties, when asked to. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field is required Minimum of 3+years of working accounting experience - Experience working in a healthcare focused industry is highly preferred Full Cycle Accounting Experience Communications and Organizational Skills Management / Leadership Experience knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) + revenue accounting standards (ASC 606) Powered by JazzHR
